Charak Group of Professional Studies has been an Institute for higher education Since 2004 boys and girls. The College was established by the efforts of Dr. Ashwani Singh, a great Champion of Social Causes, upliftment & awareness Towards higher education in rural areas. It is situated at Maura Village on Sitapur- Hardoi By Pass Road, Lucknow.
CGPS Considers Learning as a continuous process and strives to provide an education that will enable students to achieve heights in life. The college offers quality and value based higher education to students. The college has strong Infrastructures setup as class rooms, Labs, Library etc Followed by spacious Ground. The college imparts education in UG & Proposed PG Courses.
The College Imparts education in UG courses, i.e. B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., B.Ed., and PG courses in M.A. ( Sociology And Education) & M.Com.

Charak & Suruchi Institute of Nursing, which provides Medical Courses like GNM, ANM, B.Sc Nursing, Post-B.Sc. B.Sc & Paramedical Sciences.
Suruchi Institute of Higher Education, Which Provides Diploma in Elementary Education.
